You're More Than Just A Dame
Years ago from the birth of time,
We grew up to be in our prime;
To accept who and what we became,
As we are more than just a dame.
From little girl to a beautiful young lady,
We've come a long way from being just a baby.
Now we're matured and quite a woman,
With alot of emotions, it's only human.
By now we have accepted who and what
we became for we certainly are more
than just a dame.
Your dreams of tomorrow has finally arrived,
For now you're going to be someones
lovely young bride;
Having hopes of the future with husband to be,
And making plans to be a family of three.
Yes, You have accepted who and what you became, for now you're more than just his dame.
Precious memories as I think of my two girls,
How cute they were with head full of curls.
My hopes for each future is the best of all wishes,
As I held each one and covered them with kisses.
Now I've really accepted who and what I became,
For I'm someones mother and I'm called
that by name.
Now they are grown up and living on their own,
Each has a career and paying their own phone.
Their future I see is beyond my imagination,
For their goals will be reached by each
ones' determination.
I believe they have accepted who and what
they became, for like me;
they will be more than just a dame.
