We are like a precious gem as delicate
as a rose and a pearl,
For God created treasures to enrich
our beautiful world.
The layers of our life has a story
of its very own,
But with God's blessings;
we are never alone.
The beauty of a jewel is in the eyes
of the beholder,
But God's love carries our burdens
upon His shoulders.
The breath of life He created for all,
But will the hearts of his jewels
be ready when He calls?
We are like a precious gem as delicate
as a rose and a pearl,
For God had a purpose when He added
us to His beautiful world.
He gives us the desires of our heart
in due time, (Psalms 37:4)
But better yet . . . we are God's jewels
all the time.
