Happy_Thanksgiving

We have come a long way from when

the pilgrims crossed the sea,

And they shared a meal with the indians

to create a thanksgiving day

for you and me.

What a blessing and special day

that was... for them many years ago,

As I can picture them being united and

peaceful to make this special day so.

We're connected to them as we give

thanks for this day,

And for many blessings the Lord

has given upon us ... in every way.

We're grateful for the aroma of roast

turkey, baked hams and pumpkin pies

in the air,

And let's not forget the football games

that cause's excitement with our

gala affair.

As we prepare to sit down to eat - Let's

remember what we are thankful for,

Warmth of a home, good food to eat,

our health and finance's;

But most of all ... For the love, laughter

and the touch of those you adore.

Today as we are reminded of the first

thanksgiving - we gather together to

Give Thanks for the freedom we have,

the harvest we enjoy and the love

of family and friends to celebrate...

Thanksgiving Day that was created

for you and me.
