Are you like me who sits and writes a list
of things to do for the following day,
Hopeing the weather is nice so the children
can go out to play?
What shall my main chore to be?
As usual, housework to be done by me!
I often wonder if doing all this is even worth it,
Instead of being lazy and let the dust
just build up and sit.
But now that I've started with my duster in hand,
It won't be long before all is in its place
and I must not forget the ceiling fan!
The beds are all made and the dishes are done,
Mopping the floors certainly wasn't much fun!
Started the dinner and the kids are all clean,
If that dog tracks in mud, I'll just have to put
it outdoors . . . if you know what I mean!
My list is complete and I'm finally done,
But now the kids are screaming and on the run.
Now I'm wondering how long will it remain
clean like this?
Think I'll have to be demanding and down right
insist! . . . or I'll have to start all over again . . .
