Oh little town of Bethlehem,
where the Christ child lays,
Wrapped in swaddling clothes
in a manager made of hay.
Three wise men came
to bring gifts of Love,
While one star shone brighter
than the others above.
Everyone came from the little town
to see this Child so mild and meek,
And the animals kept watch,
while the Christ Child was asleep.
Now it is that time of year
when we celebrate His birth,
And remember the gifts the wise men
brought gold, incense and myrth.
Let us not forget the reason
for Christmas time this year,
It's about rejoicing,
for the Christ Child is here.
