I have a house inside of me,
A house that you will never see.
No-one walks through its' door,
Or ever steps upon its floor.
It is the place where I abide,
I go there when I want to hide.
He is there and I must
face the blame,
I go inside to hide my shame.
He is there to comfort me,
He opens doors so I can see.
Yes this house is my heart,
Where Jesus lives
so we'll never part.
He wants us all if we are true,
Not just me or a chosen few.
