The love of my life, when we started . . .
Her ~ Me and the Navy.
Then we moved from sunny Key West, Florida
to Argentia Newfoundland, Canada
where it was very cold and windy.
Just Her ~ Me and the Navy.
What a fine memory that was . . .
As two years later, our first baby
and what a bundle of joy.
Now, My Love ~ Me ~ Baby and the Navy.
Then came the move from Canada to Minnesota
after I got out of the navy . . .
Where this woman ~ my wife
became a wonderful mother to our baby girl
and three years later, a bouncing boy too!
Yahoo! It's Her ~ Me and Our Family.
Then as time went by, my love worked hard
to build a home for her family.
Tho she enjoyed the beauty of the winter season,
it was not a good thing for her.
Now my love, my wife became very sick
and with concern and doctors orders,
The time had come to move again
to warmer climate to improve her health.
So from Minnesota to Clearwater, Florida
we went, as our household was packed
and traveled two days in a u-haul truck.
She and I and the babies too,
My Love ~ Me and our family so blue.
Then in this warm climate . . .
my wife breathed a new breath of life
and I thanked God that this move
had really saved her life.
As time went on and five years later . . .
another baby girl, who during the growing years
created her own style of music and songs.
Now, Her ~ Me and our kids three.
What a wonderful woman this woman
turned out to be.
A year later, my wife said; "Now is the time.
We are having a baby boy!"
What a handful she had his first year.
Her ~ Me ~ and now Our Family Tree.
When my job called again . . .
It was to a new location and we moved from
Clearwater to Semmes, Alabama.
What a place this will be to raise our family.
Since the time . . . of My Love and Me,
She has made life for all her family.
Washing ~ Cooking ~ Cleaning ~
Packing and Moving too,
She, My Love never failed to do
all the parts it takes to make a home
warm and true.
As time continues on for My Love and Me . . .
We now have grandchildren to wonder about.
Are they healthy and strong?
Will they be safe and know that Jesus loves
them just as we do?
As I thank the Lord above
for all that we have,
I want to thank him for all His love;
For all the tears from my wife
that have been sown.
What a family she has grown.
A woman she has become ~ this mother of four,
Now a super Grandma to be;
My Love ~ My Wife and our Family Tree.
To think this has came to be
From a ball game way back in history
When it was Me and just the Navy.
And tho she answers by several names,
My wife and her are one and the same.
This journey has come and gone so fast,
Where does she go from here?
This Woman ~ My Wife,
This Woman ~ My Life.
This is what Thanksgiving is all about . . .
Thirty-six years of sharing our life together,
Thanking You ~ My Love for the family tree;
Thanking You ~ My Love for being my wife.
From Your Husband ~ With Love,
