On these bleachers behind the fence,
I feel so stiff sitting upon this bench.
But here I am, shaded beneath my hat,
As the crowd begins to cheer for the
next ballplayer to bat.
Beautiful lake surrounded with trees,
I have not yet seen any buzzing bee's
With a hotdog and beverage in each of my hands,
If I get to excited, then I'll just have to stand.
The game has started and the bases are loaded,
If I continue to eat, then I'll feel so bloated!
Oh my goodness; "Your out!" said the Ump,
"As the first baseman just tagged you with a bump!"
The sun is shining and the music is singing,
Since this practice game has started, early this spring.
Look at the children, trying to catch the fly balls,
Scattering every where, watching where it falls.
Here comes a Home Run and everyone is cheering,
With alot of noise, that we all are hearing!
Look out now, cause someone else is up to bat,
I can see perfectly from where I'm at!
